Domaine Bruno Clair
Thursday June 28, 2018, 6:00 PM

Bruno Clair fashions classically styled Burgundy from choice terroirs throughout the Cote d'Or. With the help of winemaker Philippe Brun, Clair produces some of Burgundy’s purest wines, adopting an approach that involves back-breaking vineyard work and minimal intervention in the cellar. Clair relies on a mixture of large old wooden foudres and smaller barriques for a long, slow maturation. The estate is renowned, in particular, for its stunning Gevrey-Chambertins, benchmark Marsannays and old-vine Savigny. We will be pulling some pristinely aged gems from our cellar for this not-to-be-missed night.

Stolpman Vineyards, with Jessica Stolpman
Thursday July 19, 2018, 6:00 PM

Stolpman Vineyards produces small amounts of estate-grown, organically grown wines, primarily Rhone varieties (Syrah, Grenache, Roussane) and Sangiovese from its Limestone vineyard in Santa Barbara's Ballard Canyon AVA. Petite Sirah, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc are also grown and produced in limited quantities. The vineyard also supports a polyculture including 5 acres of olive trees for extra virgin olive oil, and a 14-acre vegetable farm. Winemaker Sashi Moorman natively ferments Stolpman wines in small lot concrete and stainless steel tanks without manipulation. Peter Stolpman also partners with Rajat Parr to make two Trousseau-based wines under the Combe label. $20 Please join Jessica Stolpman to taste the latest releases from Stolpman Vineyards.

Larkmead Vineyards
Thursday July 26, 2018, 6:00 PM

The historic Larkmead estate is one of the oldest family-owned establishments in Napa Valley. Originally founded in 1895, Larkmead's is now under the stewardship of proprietors Cam and Kate Solari Baker. Larkmead’s legendary, 110-acre vineyard features a remarkable diversity of soils that are more typical of a hillside than the valley floor. Centuries of alluvial flow have resulted in the accumulation of ancient riverbed gravel, clay, and loam. Star winemaker Dan Petroski captures the nuance and complexity of this site by vinifying small lots according to clonal selection and soil type. $20
