From round, rich and opulent to lean, herbaceous and bright, winemakers adeptly express the varied terroirs and microclimates of the rolling coastal hills and valleys. Joining us is Tom Elliott, founder of Northwest Wines, who has been working with Oregon since the company's start in 1985.

Dirty & Rowdy and Jolie-Laide
Thursday June 20, 2013, 6:00 PM

Two producers who perfectly encapsulate the new California wine movement will be here pouring their new releases from the past few vintages. Dirty & Rowdy began in 2010 and boasts such wines as a skin-fermented Semillon and carbonically macerated Mourvedre. Jolie-Laide, also started in 2010, works with Sonoma County staples like Grenache Noir but also dives into the funkier stuff with their Trousseau Gris. Join us to celebrate 'pretty-ugly' dirty-rowdy style.
6-8pm. $20.
